When the workload allows, employees may work overtime. Overtime is paid to all nonexempt employees in accordance with federal and state wage and hour restrictions. Overtime pay is based on actual hours worked. Weeks in which PTO, holiday, bereavement time, jury duty time, or other paid time off are applied, overtime will be paid for time (worked or received for one of the circumstances listed) over 40 hours in a one week period.
An employee who is absent when no PTO is available, or is on Disability Leave or a Leave of Absence, or takes time off for any other reason, would not be eligible for overtime unless hours actually worked exceeded 40 hours.
