Time off will be provided to an employee who is required to enter active military service or attend military training with the Armed Forces of the United States. Military leave is unpaid; however, employees may elect to use accrued PTO time while on military leave. An employee who requires military leave should submit a written request for such leave to Human Resources whenever possible and as soon as practicable.
The specific terms of an employee’s military leave and subsequent reinstatement will be determined based on all applicable federal and state laws, including the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act.
