Tri-State Senior PGA Professional Championship
- Date: August 20-21, 2025
- Location: South Hills Country Club
Congratulations to John Aber of Allegheny Country Club, who is the 2025 Tri-State Senior PGA Professional Champion.
John went wire-to-wire to secure his third Senior PGA Professional Championship title. Taking a 1-shot lead into the final round, he stretched his wings early and often to break away from the field by six strokes, posting an epic 36-hole 10-under par 132. Kevin Shields finished in second place, while Ty Roush secured the final qualifying spot after winning a playoff against Eddie Perinno. This Tri-State trio will represent the section at the 37th Senior PGA Professional Championship, scheduled for October 23-26, 2025, at the PGA Golf Club on the Wanamaker and Ryder Courses in Port St. Lucie, Florida.
Congratulations also to our qualifiers and alternates, as well as to Ty Roush, our Tri-State Super Senior PGA Professional Champion presented by Dick's Sporting Goods, who has won the championship for the second consecutive year.
We extend our gratitude to our Supporting Sponsor, Golf Channel, and our Supporting Partner, PGA TOUR. A special thanks to South Hills Country Club, host PGA Professional Tony Traci, and his staff, as well as our section partners: Dick's Sporting Goods (Ed Stack), Maui Jim (Jeff Daltorio), and Trophy Partner Kirk & Matz (Kristian & Justin Matz).
