Chris Sanger, PGA Head Professional at Woodstock Golf Club hung onto his lead to secure the win and earn the title of the 2025 NENY PGA Professional Championship and the top prize of $3,000. Sanger’s round included four birdies and 4 bogeys to finish at 68-72-140. Eric Mabee, PGA Director of Golf won a three-way sudden death playoff on hole 2 with a par to take the second qualifying spot. Scott Battiste, PGA Head Professional and Owner of Eagle Crest Golf Club birdied hole 5 to take the 1st alternate spot.Chris and Eric earned qualifying spots into the 58th PGA Professional Championship set for Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, OR on April 26-29, 2026.

The 2025 NENY PGA Junior Tour wrapped up in August with the Junior Tour Championship on August 8th and 9th at Colonie Golf and Country Club, Voorheesville, NY. The NENY PGA Junior Tour Championship is an invitational event with the top points leaders in each of our Girls and Boys age divisions. This year was one of the closest races we have seen in a long time! We would like to give a big congratulations to each of the Tour Championship winners and Player of the Year winners:
