Jake Narro, PGA, wins the GSPGA Professional Championship at Canebrake Country Club in Hattiesburg, Mississippi Jake Narro rode a strong 67 in Round 1 into the Final Round where he shot a 1 under 70 to secure the overall win and qualify for the 2026 PGA of America National Professional Championship at Brandon Dunes. After starting his round with a double bogey on hole 1, Narro rattled off 3 consecutive birdies on holes 4, 5, and 6 to cut into the lead. A birdie on #12 catapulted Narro into the solo lead where he never looked back. This win marks the first GSPGA Professional Championship for Narro. Nic Ishee, PGA had the low round of the day on Tuesday along with Eric Voss, PGA at -3. Ishee, who is already exempt into the 2026 PPC, vaulted up the leaderboard for a solo 2nd, while Voss’s low round helped move him into the last alternate spot with a solo 6th. Kyle Ramey, PGA and Reg Adams, PGA are your two other national qualifiers into the 2026 PGA National Professional Championship. Edging out Ryan Haskell, PGA, Drew Goff, PGA and previously mentioned Eric Voss, PGA. Course conditions at Canebrake Country Club were phenomenal, helping to ease the blisteringly hot weather in Hattiesburg over the two day event. The field included a record 152 PGA Jr. League players; a new record total for the event. After a full day of fierce competition, the Lake Charles All-Stars 13u from Lake Charles Country Club were our 13u Champions winning in a playoff vs the Gulf Coast A Team 13u out of Sunkist Country Club in Biloxi. Our 17u Champion, Gulf Coast A Team 17u redeemed their younger counterparts securing their spot at the Regional Jr. League Championship, which happens to be at their home course in Biloxi, Mississippi at Sunkist Country Club. Congratulations to PGA Members; Stuart Kramer, PGA & Rory Nelson, PGA for guiding their respective teams to the win! In its second year since its inception, the GSPGA Jr. League Pizza Division once again shined with 8 teams participating as a fun and inclusive way of ending their Junior League season. The Northshore All-Stars 13u took home the win, with PGA Member Gavin Vegas, PGA at the helm.
