The 2026 PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup will be hosted on May 11 at Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern, Pennsylvania.
PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup celebrates the PGA HOPE Program by providing a unique and memorable experience for our military Veterans and the PGA of America Golf Professionals who work tirelessly to positively impact Veterans’ lives.
This annual event, held in conjunction with the PGA Championship Week, began in 2016 and is named after the Secretary of Veteran Affairs in recognition of the Memorandum of Understanding between PGA REACH and the Department of Veteran Affairs.
Each team is made up of four Veterans from a PGA HOPE program and one PGA or LPGA Professional.
From Head Professionals at a PGA Recognized Golf Course (A-1) to those employed within the golf industry and not eligible for another Active classification (A-24), here are the two-dozen PGA of America Member classifications:
A-1 Head Professional at a PGA Recognized Golf Course
A-2 Head Professional at a PGA Recognized Golf Range
A-3 Exempt PGA TOUR, Champions Tour, Nationwide Tour, LPGA Tour and Futures Tour players
A-4 Director of Golf at PGA Recognized Golf Facilities
A-5 Past Presidents
A-6 Golf Instructor at a PGA Recognized Facility
A-7 Head Professional at a PGA Recognized Facility Under Construction
A-8 Assistant Golf Professional at a PGA Recognized Facility
A-9 Employed in Professional Positions in Management, Development, Ownership Operation and/or Financing of Facilities
A-10 Golf Clinician

A-12 College or University Golf Coach

A-14 Director of Instruction at a PGA Recognized Facility
