The team of Mike Frias, PGA Kaden McClelen (a), Jason White, PGA and Steve Manning, PGA claimed the 2026 Sun Country PGA Pro-PGM Championship at NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The team posted an 8-under-par performance in the one-day format, where teams were made up of three Sun Country PGA Professionals and one New Mexico State University (NMSU) PGM Student, with the best three scores on each hole counting toward the team total. They edged out the team of Puentes, Tolsma, Bhakta, and Montoya by two strokes for the victory.
The field competed under clear, sunny skies on Monday, March 23. Holes 8 and 15 yielded the most birdies and eagles across the field, while the par-3 second hole played as the toughest on the course.
The 2026 Sun Country PGA Pro-PGM Championship was presented by ForeUp. Supporting partners included NMSU Golf Course and the PGA Golf Management Program, BlueGolf, Golf Sign & Design, SCAGA, Sterling Cut Glass, Pepsi, and Golf Pro Payments.
Brad Lardon, PGA Director of Golf at The Club at Las Campanas, claimed the 2026 Masek Senior Match Play Championship at Horizon Golf & Conference Center in El Paso, Texas. He defeated Bill Harvey, PGA Director of Golf at Ladera Golf Course, in a two-hole playoff to secure the title.
The three-day championship ran Monday, April 13 through Wednesday, April 15 under clear, sunny West Texas skies. The final shaped up to be a defensive battle on a demanding layout, with neither player able to pull away through regulation. After 18 holes, the match was all square and headed to extra holes.
On the second playoff hole, Lardon closed out the win 1 up to claim the championship. The victory marks back-to-back Masek Senior Match Play titles for Lardon, who also captured the 2025 championship. For Harvey, the runner-up finish marked another strong showing in one of the Section's signature senior events.
The Championship marks another chapter in one of the most accomplished careers in Sun Country PGA history for Lardon, an eight-time Sun Country Senior PGA Player of the Year and former PGA TOUR competitor.
Horizon Golf & Conference Center played host for the championship. The Masek Senior Match Play Championship was presented by Masek Rocky Mountain Golf Carts, with supporting partners PGA TOUR, Golf Pro Payments, and Sterling Cut Glass.
