The New Jersey PGA season is set to begin with two exciting major championships this Spring. The 40th Match Play Championship kicks off from May 4- 6 at North Jersey Country Club. This prestigious tournament will feature the top 32 players based on 2025 ROLEX Player of the Year points, alongside 32 additional players who qualified through the Match Play Qualifier at Knoll Country Club West. Last year’s champion, Danny Harcourt, will return to defend his title and seek to make it two in a row.
Following the Match Play Championship, the 62nd Charity Clambake takes place from June 1-3 at Manasquan River Golf Club. This highly anticipated event combines competitive golf with a charitable cause, as it has done for over six decades. The 2025 champion, Brent Paladino, will look to continue his success and claim another title.
These two tournaments highlight the exceptional talent within the New Jersey PGA, providing thrilling competition and plenty of opportunities for golf fans to witness some of the best players in the region. With these two major championships opening up the year, the 2026 season promises to be a memorable one for both players and spectators alike.
