The 51st Southwest PGA Match Play Championship will be held June 29-July 1 at Ancala Country Club in Scottsdale, Arizona. The second major championship of the Southwest PGA season opens June 29 with first and second round matches. The Round of 16 and quarterfinals are scheduled for June 30, followed by the semifinals and championship match on July 1. Defending champion Jesse Mueller, PGA General Manager at Grand Canyon University Golf Course in Phoenix, returns after capturing his second Southwest PGA Match Play title last year. Mueller defeated Marty Jertson, of PING Golf, 3 & 1, in the championship match at Desert Forest Golf Club in Scottsdale. As one of the premier events in the Southwest PGA Player of the Year race, the championship once again carries significant implications for the season standings. Mueller finished runner-up to Jertson in the final 2025 Southwest PGA Player of the Year standings.

The 83rd Arizona Open Championship returns to Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, August 3-5. Conducted by the Southwest PGA, the Arizona Open is a 54-hole state open championship featuring both professional and amateur golfers from across the country. The event traces its history back to the inaugural championship in 1937. The championship field will consist of 156 players, including qualifiers from six Arizona Open qualifying events along with players who are exempt from qualifying. The number of qualifying spots available at each site will be determined on a pro-rata basis following the June 26 entry deadline. Additional June events on the Southwest PGA schedule include the Pro-Am at Superstition Mountain Golf and Country Club on June 10, along with two PING Player and Senior Series events scheduled for June 22 at Kierland Golf Club, in Scottsdale, and June 25 at Alta Mesa Golf Club, in Mesa, Arizona. The month also features the popular Pro-Pro Championship, set for June 15 on the famed Stadium Course at TPC Scottsdale.
