Honolulu’s Professional John Oda captured the 2026 Mid Pacific Open by carding a 10 under total of 278. Fellow touring professional Brent Grant came in a close second at 8 under par.
Remington Hirano shot a fine score of six under par total of 282 to claim low amateur honors.
Other flight winners were as follows:
Senior Professional Flight: Marcus Judge, PGA
A Flight: Ethan Abella
B Flight: Gordon Ashimine
The Mid Pacific Open is the last 72 hole Professional tournament in the State of Hawaii and is affectionately called the Masters of Hawaii. This exciting event attracts many participants from the mainland, Japan and local professionals.
The Aloha Section PGA would like to express our deepest Mahalo to the Mid Pacific Country Club and its members for their continued commitment in this popular tournament in Hawaii.
The 2026 ASPGA Classic Scramble was held at the Mid Pacific Country Club. Sponsors were paired with Hawaii Professionals for a fun filled event.
This popular event is the major fundraising event for the Aloha Section PGA Foundation. The foundation provides scholarships for deserving high school graduates as well as the many programs which benefits junior golfers and various golf promotion programs throughout the State.
