Team Michigan Captures 2026 PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup Team Michigan delivered a memorable performance at the 2026 PGA HOPE Secretary’s Cup presented by American Airlines, capturing the title during PGA Championship week at Chester Valley Golf Club in Malvern, Pennsylvania. The team finished at 4-under par, holding off multiple teams in a tightly contested event to bring home the win. Led by PGA Professional Scott Vice, Team Michigan consisted of Veterans Roy Thomas and Chris MacIntosh of the U.S. Marine Corps and Joel Collins and Ryan Young of the U.S. Army. The team entered the event carrying a message larger than competition: “Back to Baseline – The Quiet Mission,” representing the journey many Veterans take toward healing, connection, and renewed purpose through PGA HOPE. For Michigan, the victory represented far more than a scorecard. PGA HOPE has become a pathway to camaraderie and support for Veterans across the state, creating lasting relationships through the game of golf. After a weekend celebrating service, resilience, and community, Team Michigan left with championship hardware and memories that will last a lifetime. |
