The 109th PGA Annual Meeting of the PGA of America is coming home to Frisco. This year’s meeting is set to take place at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort Nov. 4-7. The busy schedule of meetings and events throughout the week includes the PGA of America National Awards on Nov. 4 and the PGA Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony on Nov. 5, as well as the Annual Meeting Closing Reception on Nov. 6. The Northern Texas PGA Section, which is headquartered adjacent to the Home of the PGA of America, will be hosting hospitality events throughout the week, including a delegate golf outing on Nov. 7.
“I’m very excited about our upcoming Annual Meeting,” says PGA President Don Rea Jr. “Not only does it provide all attendees an opportunity to visit and tour the Home of the PGA of America and our entire campus, but it is also the one time each year we gather as an Association in person to discuss the PGA of America’s mission of serving the PGA of America Member and growing the game.
“The conversations, debates and breakouts are part of the process of getting better every year and making sure we leave this Association better than when we found it. I hope to see you there.”
The 109th PGA of America Annual Meeting agenda includes informal sessions on Wednesday, Nov. 5, which is also Home of the PGA Day – an opportunity for meeting attendees to tour the headquarters building, the PGA of America Coaching Center powered by T-Mobile and the rest of the Omni PGA Frisco campus. On Thursday, Nov. 6, the general session of the meeting will include reports from officers and PGA of America CEO Derek Sprague.
The PGA of America National Awards will honor the 12 individuals to earn 2025 awards, headlined by PGA of America Golf Professional of the Year Scott Paris of Plainfield Country Club in Edison, New Jersey, as well as the Northern Texas PGA Section – winner of the Herb Graffis Award. The PGA Hall of Fame Ceremony will see the induction of six new members: PGA Past President Jim Richerson, PGA of America Members Ronny Glanton, Jim McLean and JD Turner, LPGA legend Nancy Lopez and trick-shot artist Dennis Walters.
