AMBASSADOR SPOTLIGHT: CHRIS ARANDA'S "TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN" EXPERIENCE
PGA HOPE Carolinas Ambassador Sergeant First Class (Ret.) Chris Aranda of Myrtle Beach represented the Carolinas Section at the 6th Annual PGA HOPE National Golf & Wellness Week at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland. The October 8-14 event brought together 20 Ambassadors nationwide for advanced golf instruction, leadership development, and mental wellness training.
"From Day 1 to Day 6 was a truly remarkable mental health and wellness experience," said Aranda. "It was the TOP of the Mountain for the PGA HOPE Ambassador program."
Aranda was particularly moved by the camaraderie among fellow Ambassadors, describing it as "being back in formation with your brothers in arms." A highlight came when he discovered his name displayed on a locker next to Rory McIlroy's in Congressional's Men's Locker Room, "one of those once-in-a-lifetime moments you'll never forget."
The experience energized Chris to expand PGA HOPE's reach across the Carolinas. "PGA HOPE saves lives! Don't hesitate to be introduced to the program," he emphasized. "Allow your local Ambassador to mentor you through this amazing journey."
