It was a special day for our Hawaii representatives to the Regional Qualifying for the 2026 Drive, Chip and Putt. The Four Seasons Hualalai Resort Golf Course on the island of Hawaii served as the venue for the final stage of qualifying.
Four Hawaii juniors earned their coveted places at the Augusta National Golf Club to be held on the Sunday preceding the Masters.
In the Girls 10-11 division, Mie Funakoshi of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii carded a 156 total to claim a spot.
Lucy Cui of Honolulu, Hawaii claimed the Girls 12-13 division with a 128 total.
Charlie Bourne of Waikoloa, Hawaii scored a total of 159 in the Boys 12-13 to clinch his title.
In the Boys 14-15 division, Koloa, Hawaii’s Shane Murphy carded a total score of 157 to claim his ticket.
Congratulations to the other winners in their respective divisions:
Girls 7-9: Audrey Zhang of Diamond Bar, California - 125 total.
Girls 14-15: Amber Lee of San Diego, California - 133 total.
Boys 7-9: Landyn Kelly of Henderson, Nevada - 126 total.
Boys 10-11: Vincent Cuevas of Chino Hills, California - 139 total.
