- Tri-State Assistant PGA Professional Championship

Congratulations to our 2026 Tri-State Assistant PGA Professional Champion, Talon Kriebel of Glengarry Golf Links. Talon was stellar today, continuing his strong season as he fired a 36-hole 11-under 129 in blazing heat, with 8 birdies and 2 eagles.
Congratulations to Cole Moore of The Greenbrier Sporting Club, who, along with Talon, has qualified for and advanced to the 50th Assistant PGA Professional Championship at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida | November 12-15, 2026.
Well played, and best of luck in November at the National Championship. Thank you to all of our TSPGA Assistant Professionals who participated and to our alternates for a great day of golf in the high heat at Chartiers Country Club.
A secondary shoutout and congratulations to Talon Kriebel, who followed up this championship with another TSPGA Major Championship, The Falling Rock Classic at Nemacolin, just one week later.

The Tri-State Section PGA participated in the Brentwood, Pennsylvania, July 4th Community Parade again this year, which is the birthplace of TSPGA Executive Director/CEO David Wright.
We presented our 2 TSPGA vans, and our staff rolled through the massive parade route, handing out Red, white and blue rubber golf balls and PGA HOPE collectibles.
