Tübr Storage has made a splash in the golf market with its flagship cigar cases – named Best In Show at the 2025 PGA Show Inventor’s Spotlight Awards – which are airtight, weather resistant, float in water and maintain a sleek, modern aesthetic. The Portland, Oregon-based company has more recently ventured beyond cigars to introduce innovative nicotine pouch storage, offering both products to an increasing number of golf facilities for tournaments, outings and other events.
According to co-founder Brad Jersey, Tübr has done more than 35 full-field tournaments over the last year, including the Fly Me Away Invitational at East Potomac Golf Links and Langston Golf Course in Washington, D.C., and the Maurice Lucas Foundation Celebrity Golf Invitational at The Reserve Vineyard & Golf Club in Portland, Oregon.
“I think we’ve struck a really nice chord in the tournament gifting space because our high-end Alümen product is fully customizable – offering laser engraving or high-level UV color printing – making it a memorable piece uniquely different from the traditional items,” Jersey says. “It’s a premium storage device, boxed in such a high-fashion way that it almost resembles a coffee table book. Plus, it is really affordable compared to other gifting items as we can customize the units for around $60 for full-field events.”
Tübr offers a range of options to fit different tournament gifting budgets, including Gordo Alümen (anodized aluminum), which retails for $100; Gordo PC (polycarbonate), which retails for $40; and Kingz and Stash, which retail for $20. In June, the company added P-Series pouch containers as another unique tournament and retail accessory for the golf space, which it expects will further elevate the gifting program as more golfers shift to nicotine pouches, a discreet and on-course friendly alternative.
“One thing we often see with tournaments is a mixed-product approach, depending on the audience and gifting tier,” says Tübr Chief Marketing Officer Natalie Olson. “For example, organizers may choose Gordo PC or Stash for attendee gifts, while reserving Alümen as a premium winner or VIP prize. That allows us to create memorable gifting experiences across a wide range of budgets while still maintaining a cohesive, elevated brand presentation.”
Olson further points out that the pouch category has evolved far beyond nicotine into energy, electrolyte, focus and recovery pouches, with these storage units becoming collectibles for tournament participants — especially when they’re customized for the event.
Tübr has also found a natural overlap between premium cigars and the golf event world, especially within member-guests and destination-style tournaments where clubs aim to create a more elevated, experience-driven atmosphere. The company has brought cigar rollers to certain events and says it’s building relationships with several major cigar brands to put together future collaborations, custom editions and co-branded gifting experiences.
Arizona’s Ak-Chin Southern Dunes Golf Club has worked with Tübr two years in a row for its Ak-Chin Indian Community (ACIC) Him Dak fundraising event, held annually in late April. Last year, the 124 participants received a unit that holds two cigars, with a cigar vendor and cigar roller on property, while this year’s sold-out field of 144 could choose among a P20 and P40 nicotine pouch, energy pouch or pill box holder.
“While we had the capability to put the tournament logo on them, we used the course logo instead so we could sell the overrun inventory in the golf shop at our facility,” says Ak-Chin GM Brady Wilson, PGA.
The storage units were given out during registration, and many participants used them during the tournament. According to Wilson, players enjoyed the upscale presentation – or boxing – and even those who don’t smoke cigars or use pouches said the Tübrs would make a great gift for a friend, relative or other enthusiast.
“Tübr is such a great partner,” adds Wilson.
