Former New York Islanders forward and MSG Networks analyst Cal Clutterbuck has been named a Metropolitan PGA Foundation Ambassador! In this role, Clutterbuck will help raise awareness and support for Foundation programs benefiting junior golfers, veterans and underserved communities.
He will make his Ambassador debut at the fifth annual Met PGA Birdie Bash on August 3, teaming with PGA Professional Anthony Aruta to play 54 holes and raise funds for the Foundation and Play Yellow children’s hospital beneficiaries.

Congratulations to 2026 Lenox Advisors NFP New York State Open Champion, Peicheng Chen of Rock Hill Golf & Country Club!
This is Chen's second New York State Open win, after an exciting playoff against AJ Cavotta of the Northeastern New York Section. He also became the first person to win the open as an amateur and a professional!

On July 7th, we celebrated our largest PGA HOPE graduating class to date at Trump National Westchester!
More than 130 veterans completed six weeks of PGA HOPE instruction and received a new set of Callaway golf clubs to continue their golf journey.

Congratulations to 2026 Women’s Met Open Champion, Kayla Sciupider of Five Iron Golf in NYC!
After a rough first round due to bad weather, Past champion Samantha Morrell, and eventual low amateur Grace Lu lead over round one. Another past champ Ami Gianchandani was in the mix down the stretch… but Kayla fired -1 in the final round to take the championship by one shot.
Kayla recently moved to the Metropolitan Section from the Carolinas Section. We welcome, and Congratulate her on her first professional win!
