Congratulations to Ty Roush, the champion of the 2025 Falling Rock Classic presented by Nemacolin and Club Car.
Ty Roush, a 32-year member of the PGA, serves as the Head Golf Professional at Riverside Golf Club. He has made history by winning the Falling Rock Classic Championship. Although Ty has previously claimed major titles in his home state of West Virginia, this victory marks his first championship win in Pennsylvania, where he has been competing for 40 years. Heading into the final round, Ty was three shots behind the leader but showcased consistent play throughout the challenging Mystic Rock course, designed by Pete Dye. He finished with a 36-hole score of Even Par 144.
Congratulations to Zach Street of Sewickley Heights Golf Club for winning the 2025 Tri-State Section Assistant PGA Professional Championship!
Zach, along with Brett Carman from Valley Brook Country Club, has qualified for the 2025 Assistant PGA Professional Championship, which will take place from November 13 to 16, 2025, at the Wanamaker Course of PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The championship was held at the beautiful Indiana Country Club set among rolling hills and tree-lined fairways. The course presented a true test of skill and focus, providing an ideal environment for top assistant professionals to showcase their abilities at the highest level.
