- B.O.D. & Tournament Committee Meeting

The section held its annual Winter Board of Directors and Tournament Committee meeting at the Tri-State PGA headquarters in Carnegie, PA. We welcomed our new board and committee members, reviewed the 2025 season, and discussed and voted on new initiatives for the upcoming year. The group will reconvene in the new year to finalize preparations for an exciting 2026. The meeting was both festive and productive, and we extend our gratitude to our officers, board members, and committee members for their participation and commitment to advancing the section.

We are excited to share this NEW news for 2026.
In December, the Tri-State Section PGA announced a New NIL Education Partnership with "Influential Athlete," the nation's leading NIL education company, to bring comprehensive Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) training to junior golfers and families across Western Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Western Maryland.
With NIL becoming an increasingly important part of the athletic landscape, the Tri-State PGA is committed to ensuring its members have access to trusted, proactive education.

- 'Wisdom Wednesday' Golf Education Series

The Tri-State PGA "Wisdom Wednesday" golf education series returned for its third season with an early session to kickstart the upcoming season.
PGA of America Career Consultant Garrett Korte joined hosts Cory Livingston, the TSPGA Education Chairman and Head Professional at The Club at Nevillewood, and Zachary Turek, Head Professional at Westmoreland Country Club, to discuss various topics related to PGA Career Services. This series provides an opportunity for section professionals to engage in discussions with their peers and will continue to run through the winter months, leading up to April tee times.
