Congratulations to Kaili Xiao of Chino Hills, CA, for winning the 2025 Women’s California State Open Presented by Toyota, finishing the 54-hole Championship at 7-under-par at Desert Springs Golf Course. Xiao posted rounds of 70-68-71 to withstand the 140-player field and walked away with the trophy. Her name is now the tenth name etched into the Championship’s history books with the likes of Brianna Do, Haley Moore, Alana Uriell, and other past champions.
Congratulations also to Shelly Stouffer of Nanoose Bay, British Columbia, for claiming the title in the Senior Division with a score of one-over-par (69-74-74). Stouffer becomes the second player to win the Senior Division, as Pat Hurst, PGA, won the inaugural title in 2024.
Thank you to title sponsor Toyota, whose dedication to empowering women in sports remains unwavering, and through this tournament, demonstrated their collective effort to advance women’s golf.
Special thank you to host facility Desert Springs Golf Club’s PGA Professionals Todd Iacono and Daniel Horning for the hospitality, and the golf course superintendent and their staff for the fantastic course conditions.
The 2025 Women’s California State Open represents a continued step forward in the growth of women’s golf, offering a platform to showcase the skill, determination, and passion of female golfers. The SCPGA remains committed to creating opportunities for women in the game, from developmental programs to championship events.
