This is our second newsletter of 2026 and you may have noticed that we have switched up the format. Going forward, the newsletter will be formatted using the PageRaft platform.
Now I know what you are thinking: That’s all well and good, but what does that mean for me? In short, a better and more engaging reading experience.
The Greenbelt Newsletter design is now responsive, which means the newsletter will be just as easy to navigate and read on your phone or tablet as it is on your desktop. Your days of zooming in and out of an old, musty PDF are now over.
The newsletter will load in your internet browser, be it Chrome, Sarfari, Firefox, etc. You don’t need to download an app or login to read it. As long as you have an internet connection, you will be able to open the newsletter at home or on the go.
You will now also be able to more easily share articles from the newsletter or the whole newsletter itself through social media, messages, and email. You can do so by clicking on the share button in the top right corner of the interface or by copying and pasting the URL from the address bar in your browser.
By making the newsletter more accessible and easier to share, we will be able to help spread our reach to not only members of CAGA but also to the Harrisburg community about Greenbelt events, volunteer opportunities, and trail conditions.
Another advantage of the PageRaft digital format, is that you will be able to easily and quickly search for topics or keywords in this issue.
We will also be taking advantage of the many interactive features and design elements that are now available to us. Don’t be surprised if you see videos, animations, hyperlinks and call to action buttons augmenting our stories and making it easier for you to link directly to volunteer opportunities, register for events, and learn more about partners or local organizations that are active on the Greenbelt.
All that being said, your feedback means a lot in shaping the newsletter going forward, be it content or design. We would like to hear back from you about your reading experience– what worked, what could work better, and if you have any ideas that would help improve the newsletter.
Thanks for reading and keep riding!
