Chicago Golf Show® attendees were treated to four hours of live content on the event’s second day, as two staples of ESPN 1000’s weekend programming lineup emanated from Rosemont.
First, the “CDGA Golf Show” presented by Glenview Park Golf Club aired from 9-11 a.m. Hosts Mike Gilligan from the CDGA and Tyler Aki from ESPN 1000 conducted their second episode of 2025 in CDGA Town Square. Guests included 2024 Illinois Open champion Charlie Nikitas, two-time U.S. Open winner Andy North and new Tour Edge president Tim Clarke.
Gilligan and Aki will take to the airwaves every Saturday through the Ryder Cup in September. Now in its fourth season, the show will continue to feature insightful interviews, news updates about the PGA Tour and other major golf events, interaction between the hosts and listeners, contest opportunities and more. In addition to on ESPN 1000, the show can be accessed via the ESPN Chicago App, Twitch and YouTube.
Also on site broadcasting from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. were Peggy Kusinski and Dionnie Miller, hosts of the Peggy & Dionne Show. Kusinski accepted her CDGA Member Spotlight presented by Wintrust award as part of the proceedings (pictured above). The CDGA Golf Show and Peggy & Dionne Show will air back-to-back every Saturday.
Following the live broadcasts, Kusinski, Miller and Aki (pictured below), along with a handful of other individuals, attempted the Longest Putt for a chance at $10,000. Unfortunately, none of the attempts were successful.
