Established in 2021, the Goose Creek CISD PR Squad was created to develop a student voice in district social media content and assist with campus celebrations and information dissemination. This dynamic team of high school students aims to share stories of success, celebration, and everyday moments to engage fellow students, staff, and the community.
The selection process involved the community engagement team interviewing candidates and selecting highly qualified students from each high school. These students come from diverse backgrounds and bring valuable skills in photography, videography, content writing, and social media to the team. Their unique perspectives and talents will play a crucial role in creating authentic and engaging content that resonates with the district’s community.
Incorporating a student voice is a top priority for Goose Creek CISD, and the PR Squad exemplifies this commitment. By empowering students to share their stories and experiences, the district aims to foster a more inclusive and vibrant community. The 2024-2025 PR Squad members are eager to begin their work, capturing the essence of school life and celebrating the achievements and milestones that make Goose Creek CISD a special place. Their contributions will undoubtedly enhance the district’s social media presence and strengthen the connection between students, staff, and the community.
