The district has renewed their contract with ParentSquare for its all-inclusive communication. Parents, students, staff, and the community have the option to receive notifications via text, email, and/or through the app. ParentSquare syncs with the GCCISD information system, so contacts are automatically connected upon registration. Although we highly recommend that users download the ParentSquare App, users will still be able to receive important alerts without the app.

There are some exciting new features within the platform that will allow the district to streamline the information its users are receiving. Instead of notifying users of the information as it is received, the information will be compiled into a weekly newsletter, The Giant News! The district is highly encouraging principals to handle their information similarly.
