The PGA of America has selected Laura Frick, PGA, to serve as the Championship Director for the 2026 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, scheduled for next June at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota.
Frick becomes the first woman PGA of America Member to serve as a Championship Director for one of the Association’s Spectator Championships. She will oversee all onsite operations and direct efforts to uphold the Championship’s standing as a premier event in women’s golf.
“I am truly honored and excited to take on this role with the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship,” says Frick.

Now in her eighth year with the PGA of America, Frick most recently served as Director of Competitions since December 2021. She led the 13u and 17u National Car Rental PGA Jr. League Championships. Additionally, Frick managed the National Collegiate Club Golf Association and PGA Family Golf programs.
A native of Hudsonville, Michigan, Frick previously held positions within the PGA of America’s Player Engagement and Member Championships departments. She graduated from Ferris State University’s PGA Golf Management program in 2015.
The 2025 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will take place from June 19-22 at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco, making its first appearance in Texas in the event’s 70-year history.
