Overview: Austin Beach Club, a new, members-only golf and social club, is the latest development to arise in the area known as Dog's Head, a former sand and gravel mining hub in far East Austin. The 63-acre site, which sits on the banks of the Colorado River, is billed as a “nature getaway” with golf, walking trails, wellness classes, a clubhouse for fine dining and social gatherings, and water activities like kayaking, paddle boarding and canoeing. Noted architects Roy Bechtol and Jim Fazio teamed up to create the 12-hole par-3 course, which is built around a four-acre lake at the center of the property.

Overview: Childress Hall is an exclusive 36-hole private retreat located just outside the city of Childress, about midway between Amarillo and Wichita Falls. Situated on 2,400 acres of spectacular sandhills terrain, Childress Hall features two 18-hole championship courses designed by Tom Doak (Upper Course) and Gil Hanse (Lower Course) set across crescent-shaped quartz dunes overlooking the Prairie Dog Town Fork Red River. Overview: Darmor is the vision of club owners D'Arcy "Todd" Barten and Morgan Barten and is located near the city of Columbus, approximately 70 miles west of Houston. The course design was a collaboration between Hal Sutton and Doug Wright, who drew inspiration from the great courses around the world. The duo incorporated several famous template holes at Darmor, such Sahara, Alps, Road Hole, Dell and Biarritz, but put their own spin on them to better integrate the strategic elements of each with the unique features of the site that was once a sand and gravel mine. Darmor has received many accolades since it opened in the summer of 2024, including being ranked Best New Course in Texas for 2025 and No. 5 overall by The Dallas Morning News.
