The TGA Gallery Club is where fans of the game come together to support, celebrate, and shape the future of golf in Texas. It’s Golf’s Greatest Fan Club – Powered by You.
Whether you’re a casual golfer, lifelong player, or just someone who loves what golf brings to people’s lives, the TGA Gallery Club is your way to give back and get involved. It’s our version of a front-row cheer squad – and every member plays a role in helping the game grow stronger, more inclusive, and more fun for everyone.
In a series of TGA Gallery Club impact stories, this issue of Lone Star Golf focuses on Adaptive Golf in Texas and highlights how your annual membership directly fuels the TGA Adaptive Golf Program, which is helping to make the game more accessible, inclusive, and impactful for people with disabilities.
Golf is for Everyone. Full Stop.
At the TGA, we believe that no physical, cognitive, or sensory impairment should stand in the way of someone experiencing the connection, confidence, community, and joy this game has to offer.
That’s why the TGA Adaptive Golf Program exists: to create meaningful opportunities for people with disabilities to play, learn, and compete, whether they’re beginners picking up a club for the first time or experienced players looking to develop and thrive.
What We Offer
Thanks to the support from TGA Gallery Club members and dedicated partners across the state, our adaptive golf efforts include:
• Free clinics led by instructors with specialized experience teaching adaptive golfers
• Sectional qualifying for the U.S. Adaptive Open, a USGA® national championship for all adaptive golf categories
• Competitive and recreational events that include working in conjunction with the Texas Adaptive Golf Association (TAGA)
• Hosting the Texas Adaptive Golf Championship
• Outreach programming that encourages people with disabilities to get started in the game and become a part of the welcoming adaptive golf community
Beyond State Lines
The TGA’s commitment to adaptive golf doesn’t stop at the Texas border. Last month, TGA staff helped with marketing and promoting the Inaugural Midwest Adaptive Championship, which was hosted in partnership with other state golf associations on September 10-11 at Sand Creek Station in Newton, Kansas.

More Than a Game
Adaptive golf brings together people with disabilities from all backgrounds, skill levels, and life experiences. It’s not just about hitting shots, it’s about showing what’s possible. And through the TGA’s efforts, more people are discovering their place in the game.
You Help Make This Happen
As a TGA Gallery Club member, your support helps make adaptive programming possible and helps make the game more accessible, inclusive, and impactful.
