The TGA Member Events schedule for 2026 was recently unveiled, featuring an impressive list of host clubs that includes returning favorites as well as new stops across the state. This year there are 36 events planned – the most ever! – providing TGA members of all ages and abilities with significantly more playing opportunities on some of the finest courses in Texas.
“We’re really excited about the upcoming season and to be able to present more one-day outings for our members,” said Brian Fry, Director of TGA Foundation and Outreach. “This year we have a wonderful mix of well-loved, familiar courses, plus the addition of some exciting new courses that players are sure to enjoy.”
The robust, monthslong schedule offers an array of casual competitions with inclusive formats, including team scrambles, shambles and best balls, making it very easy for TGA members to meet up and take delight in a relaxing round of golf and each other’s company in a friendly and pleasant environment.
Highlighting the year are the three featured multiday events. The 4th Texas Two-Step returns to White Bluff Resort in Whitney from March 27-29, while the 2nd TGA Member’s Cup will be held at a new venue, with Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco playing host May 15-17. Rounding out the popular trio is the 10th Texas Shamble, which once again heads back to traditional go-to and longtime favorite Tapatio Springs Hill Country Resort in Boerne from August 14-16.
In just a few weeks from now, the Member Events Series will travel to the Golf Club of Houston on Monday, March 2, where the highly regarded and pristine Member Course will kick off a new season of engaging golf on some of the best private and resort courses throughout Texas.
Among the many marquee clubs hosting member outings in 2026 include: TPC San Antonio, Dominion Country Club, Rockwall Golf & Athletic Club, The Club at Sonterra, Twin Creeks Country Club, Barton Creek Resort, Stonebriar Country Club, Horseshoe Bay Resort, River Place Country Club, Las Colinas Country Club, Onion Creek Club, Black Hawk Country Club, Bentwater Yacht & Country Club, Walnut Creek Country Club, and Riverbend Country Club.
The Member Events Series prides itself on creating unique and memorable experiences for the entire TGA golfing community, regardless of age or skill level. These casual events are open to all active members, who are welcome to sign up as an individual or as a group with other members.
With so many premier courses around the state hosting events this year, and the opportunity to make meaningful connections with new people, or new memories with old friends, there is much to look forward to in the months ahead.
