Sarah Pranckevicius
Adaptability translates into growth
Sarah Pranckevicius’ career at the PGA Tour is a testament to three primary aspects of success in the golf industry. Vision. Adaptability. And leadership.
For example, she joined the organization in 2013 as a client services coordinator for international media—straight out of college, without any prior connections. But her potential was quickly recognized by hiring managers Kate Sharp and Thierry Pascal, who offered her the opportunity that launched her career.
“I’ll always be thankful to them for seeing something in my 22-year-old self,” she said.
Over the next decade, Pranckevicius rose through the ranks, ultimately becoming the director of international media. Her work in that role sharpened her skills in three key ways, as she managed global partnerships, navigated complex media landscapes and understood regulatory markets. Upon reflecting on the last 12 years, she believes each of these skills proved to be invaluable, especially during her career’s next chapter.
Fast forward to 2021. As sports betting began to emerge as a strategic focus for the PGA Tour, Pranckevicius saw an opportunity for a new challenge. She volunteered to support Scott Warfield, vice president of gaming, by contributing to a refresh of the PGA Tour’s integrity policy and education initiatives. Her proactive involvement led to yet another challenge, as she transitioned into gaming as the director in January 2022.
As Pranckevicius prepares for the future, her success is fueled by a passion for the sports entertainment industry’s dynamic nature. No two days are ever the same, and she thrives on the constant evolution.
Though the move may have seemed unconventional, Pranckevicius noticed clear parallels between the two departments. In particular, both required strategic partnership management, media fluency and a deep understanding of global regulatory environments.
“While I was learning a new facet of the sports industry, the scope of work felt like a very natural extension of my experience,” she emphasized.
In April 2025, Pranckevicius was promoted to senior director of gaming, a role that places her at the forefront of an area that’s growing rapidly in sports. With the promotion, she now oversees the PGA Tour’s data distribution partnership with IMG Arena, which powers a live, in-play betting product that ranks among sports’ top-growing betting handles.
She also leads the Official Betting Operator program, while managing relationships with DraftKings, ESPN Bet and FanDuel. Her leadership helped launch ESPN Bet on PGA Tour Live in February 2025, a live betting stream on ESPN+ that integrates data, insights and real-time analysis during six FedExCup tournaments.
Beyond partnerships, Pranckevicius drives new business development and collaborates across nearly every division of the PGA Tour — from broadcasting and communications to legal, finance and marketing.
“There aren’t many arms of the PGA Tour that gaming doesn’t touch,” she noted.
“Riding this roller coaster of change has its challenges, but I love the opportunity,” she said. “I’m always adapting, learning and wearing many hats.”
While reminiscing on her 12-year journey, Pranckevicius is also proud of the diverse experiences she’s been involved with — experiences that have shaped her career so far and will continue to do so down the road.
“I’m extremely thankful for the path I’ve taken at the PGA Tour,” she added. “It’s given me a wealth of knowledge and insight, and I’m excited for what’s next.”
