As we transition from spring and summer into fall, we really like to play into the fall season with props around the shop and, specifically, on our front impact table. This table is the first one you see when you walk into the shop, so it’s important for it to make a statement! The latter half of summer for us is slow, so once new fall apparel starts arriving, we do our best to make the shop feel fresh and updated.
Last year, we used our Member-Guest theme as the theme for our impact table. Our Member-Guest is called “Round Up,” so when we are buying for the fall, we try to keep this event in mind to bring in any western prints to play on the theme. In using western printed apparel along with western themed props, we really got our membership excited for the Member-Guest and thinking about team uniforms. And if nothing else, it gets people talking about Round Up and gets the conversation going.
Having an impact table and putting a lot of focus on this table is very important, as this is the first impression of the golf shop and the merchandise when members or guests walk in. And if you pair this first impression with greeting members or guests the second they come in the door, they already feel right at home and welcome. Providing a happy, clean and warm environment will only grow sales in your shop.
