No golf course in history has hosted a U.S. Open, PGA Championship, Ryder Cup and Presidents Cup.
Until 2026, that is.
Medinah Country Club and its overhauled Course Three will become the first facility with this distinction when it hosts the Presidents Cup, Sept. 24-27, 2026. The club was officially put “on the clock” by the PGA Tour’s Jason Gore and other dignitaries in a special event on Oct. 1. The ceremony also featured the unveiling of the 2026 logo (pictured), which features elements of Medinah’s iconic emblem surrounding the Presidents Cup trophy.
Among the special attendees at Medinah were Paul Azinger and Geoff Ogilvy. Azinger is known for his success in international events as a player and captain. The Aussie Ogilvy, meanwhile, was a captain’s assistant for the International side in Montreal during this year’s event and oversaw Course Three’s transformation through his OCM design firm.
