Located at Water Tower Place in downtown Chicago, the Chicago Sports Museum hosts a wide array of sports memorabilia from the city’s storied past. Exhibits include the largest collection of Chicago Cubs 2016 World Series memorabilia in the city, as well as unique artifacts like the hoop from Michael Jordan’s buzzer-beating shot in the 1998 NBA Finals.
That historic collection served as an appropriate backdrop last month during a “Let’s Talk Golf: PGA Tour’s 2026 Presidents Cup” Speaker Series event. Hosted by the Chicago Sports Commission, media members and stakeholders alike were joined by a panel of important figures ahead of the 2026 Presidents Cup, slated for CDGA member club Medinah Country Club. Topics of discussion included the upcoming event, the economic impact it will have on the city and thoughts on Medinah’s soon-to-be-completed Course #3 renovation (CLICK HERE to read more about this renovation in a July 2022 Chicago District Golfer feature).
