Take the trip of a lifetime and step onto the deck of a new yacht ready to traverse the high seas. Spanning 65 meters (~213 ft), Entourage embraces nautical design themes and captures natural surroundings in subtle blue, sand, and oak tones, awash in soft LED illumination. Lighting by Marcel Dion Lighting Design and interior design by BURDIFILEK, Inc. balance serenity and comfortable task lighting throughout the ship.
Selected fixtures are architectural luminaires rather than typical maritime fixtures to better blend with matte-white ceiling panels and fumed-oak wood millwork.
Illumination in bedrooms creates a cozier atmosphere than that in more active shared spaces: curved warm-dim linear luminaires are concealed and provide uplighting, making the space feel luxurious.
Miniature cove lighting from above and on the side of the leather-walled main stair fills the volume of the curved space while a single downlight adds contrast and highlights shelving.
Warm-dim downlights are grouped together throughout the project. Single lights represent low-level or focused lighting, while groups of two and/or three downlights provide increased illumination over tables or wall washing on artwork on lower levels of the yacht.
