The newest TruFeel ball from Titleist has been re-engineered to deliver greater distance and better control while maintaining its place as the softest-feeling ball in the Titleist lineup.
According to company officials, these enhancements come from the employment of a fast, low-compression core and new aerodynamics courtesy of a symmetrically optimized dimple pattern (for greater length off the driver) and a proprietary cover (that is designed to enhance control and feel around the green).
“We know from extensive player testing that golfers who gravitate toward the softest-feeling golf balls are also clearly focused on performance,” says Michael Mahoney, Titleist’s vice president of golf ball marketing. “In this category, we continue to see competitive products that sacrifice distance or short-game spin in order to gain a softer feel.
“TruFeel strikes the perfect balance of extremely soft feel and all-around performance. Our engineers have advanced its low-compression technology to add speed and distance in the long game while preserving the feel that golfers tell us they love and the playability on every shot that makes this ball a Titleist.”
TruFeel golf balls sell for $29.99 a dozen and are offered in both white and optic yellow versions, with a matte red color ready for release in January.
