For a modern game all about speed, TaylorMade delivers its fastest and most fittable family of drivers – the Qi4D.
Featuring lighter carbon faces, a quad-weighting system and confidence-inspiring head shapes engineered to maximize aerodynamic efficiency, the Qi4D, Qi4D LS, Qi4D Max and Qi4D Max Lite drivers ($650) can fit any swing profile. A new cut-through “speed pocket” enhances flexibility across the bottom of the face for optimized compression at impact.
“Golfers are looking for a driver that’s fit for them and gives them speed off the tee,” said Brian Bazzel, TaylorMade’s vice president of product creation. “The Qi4D family of drivers has been engineered to deliver on both those fronts. From finely tuned aerodynamic heads, to faces with improved roll radii and the use of the lightest-weight materials in construction, we’ve created our fastest family of drivers.”
The standard Qi4D’s quad weighting system employs four movable weights (two 9g and two 4g) that allow golfers to optimize speed, forgiveness, launch and ball flight. Placing the heavier weights in the front provides faster ball speeds, whereas placing the heavier weights in the back increases MOI, forgiveness and stability. Placing a heavy weight in the heel adds draw bias while placing a heavy weight in the toe promotes fade bias.
The Qi4D LS is the fastest, lowest-spinning head in the lineup, utilizing two adjustable weights (15g and 4g) to allow for the most mass-efficient way to dial in flight and spin.
The Qi4D Max has a lighter aircraft-grade aluminum collar to provide adjustability in a high-MOI head without compromising speed, with two weights (13g and 4g) adjustable to provide faster ball speeds or enhanced stability and forgiveness.
The Qi4D Max Lite employs the same design and performance technologies as the Max, but in an ultralight package that’s ideal for golfers looking to maximize clubhead speed.
