The CDGA Foundation Scholarship & Grant Program consists of an array of education opportunities for youth throughout the Chicago District. The CDGA Veteran Scholarship is awarded to dependents of a veteran, carrying on the organization’s long-standing support of our nation’s heroes.
The 2024 recipient of the CDGA Veteran Scholarship is Zachary Altenhoff, a Minooka native attending the University of St. Francis in Joliet. Altenhoff (pictured top, middle) was presented the scholarship by CDGA Foundation president Al Reid (top, right) at the CDGA Foundation Golf Outing in July, with his parents Mike and Diana (top, left) in attendance.
