Kicker Robbie Gould and long snapper Patrick Mannelly played together on the Chicago Bears for nine seasons (2005-13), combining to connect on hundreds of field goals. Aside from the football field, there is one place the special teams duo spent, and continues to spend, the most time together.
The golf course.
A golfing bond that started with rounds between practices during their playing careers has continued into each player’s retirement. This summer, the two teed it up alongside one another in the 23rd CDGA Foundation Golf Outing at Ivanhoe Club in Mundelein.
