The CDGA Foundation continues to create opportunities for everyone to experience the game of golf, whether it is on or off the golf course. The mission for the Foundation remains the same: give back to the game of golf and create accessibility for all golfers.
To support that mission, numerous fundraising events are available for individuals to play in while supporting adaptive, youth and therapeutic Sunshine Programs. See below for more information on each fundraiser:
May 16 • Zigfield Troy Golf (Woodridge)
Leading up to the event, individuals and two-person teams will raise vital funds by encouraging their networks to support their efforts through flat donations or per-birdie pledges. Teams will then play a modified scramble format over 50 holes (or 4 hours) on Saturday, May 16 and try to make as many birdies as possible. The funds raised will support the CDGA’s adaptive, therapeutic and youth Sunshine Programs.
June 15-21
Individuals will have the opportunity to bid on an array of unique items through the CDGA Foundation Online Auction. Items include golf experiences, trips, memorabilia, equipment and much more. Bidding begins on Monday, June 15 and will close at noon on Sunday, June 21.
July 20 • Oak Park Country Club (River Grove)
A staple event of the CDGA Foundation calendar for 25 years, the Fore Our Veterans Outing returns to Oak Park Country Club in mid-July, as proceeds will provide vital funding to support the CDGA Veteran Programs and Scholarships. The event will feature a traditional 18 holes of golf in addition to lunch, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
Aug. 17 • Chicago Highlands Club (Westchester)
The 10th iteration of the On the Tee for Autism Outing returns to Westchester’s Chicago Highlands Club to raise funds for the CDGA’s Sunshine Through Golf Camp Programs for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other physical, intellectual, sensory and cognitive disabilities. The Outing is hosted in partnership with the Sullivan Family.
September • The Evans at Canal Shores (Evanston)
Every September, Youth on Course supporters from around the world take part in the Youth on Course 100 Hole Hike by playing 100 holes in a day. Each hole ensures young people across the country have affordable access to the game of golf. Individuals can register for the 100 Hole Hike in 2026 at The Evans at Canal Shores in September.
