For this reason, our initiatives and actions are focused on detecting, preventing and reducing the negative impacts of tourism on the planet and people. Visible practices such as providing safe havens for wildlife, eliminating straw usage, conserving water and electricity and reducing waste and pesticides use can be seen across our resorts. Turning off the lights when you leave the room, suggesting less towel usage are all encouraged of our guests.

In the midst of the Costa Rica rainforest is Dreams Las Mareas Costa Rica, a vibrant all-inclusive resort perfect for couples, families and singles to enjoy a beach getaway. You’ll experience ‘Pure Vida’ amongst the lush green mountains and jungle on Playa El Jobo in Guanacaste. And whether it is a couples retreat or family vacation, the beautiful secluded grounds of our resort are full of wildlife and provide a relaxing and eco-friendly environment.

Our commitment to protect, preserve and minimize the impact on the planet influences many of the choices and practices at the resort.
Dreams Las Mareas understand the importance of wildlife protection and lives in harmony with the animal life of the rainforest, from lizards to the monkeys you can see on the property. That is why we pride ourselves on wildlife protection. For example, we have an alliance with the non-governmental organization Tora-Carey where we seek the protection of five species of sea turtles that came to lay eggs at the coasts of our community.
Dreams Las Mareas practices recycling and resource conservation and has adopted a “No Straw†policy on our beach and at our pool bars in an effort to protect marine life from plastic waste.

Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya is committed to making the world a better place. Our friendly staff work together to promote a socially responsible environment for our guests. To show our commitment, we are involved in various programs, practices and activities here at our all-inclusive resort to improve the environment, guest awareness and the local community.
Our passion for the world around us is as much a part of who we are as the lifelong family memories we help guests create. At Dreams Aventuras Riviera Maya, caring for our world means being active stewards for our environment, marine life and local community. Our commitment to protect, preserve and minimize the impact on the planet influences many of the choices and practices at the resort.
Dreams Aventuras makes it a point to work with eco-friendly suppliers. We also work throughout the year with guests and staff to garden and plant trees around the property, and we adopted within the surrounding community a piece of land that will be used for the planting tree project that will allow guests to plant a tree and receive information as well as pictures in regards to their growing contribution. Our laundry services team uses environmentally friendly detergents and the hotel sends used oils to a nearby factory that reproduces it as Biodiesel. Even the seaweed collected from the beach is donated to the community who use it to create compost.
Dreams Aventuras works hard in the preservation of plants and wildlife in and around the resort. We offer programs and activities to promote eco-friendly habits and environmental awareness. Recycling & Resource Conservation.
Guests at our all-inclusive Caribbean resort are encouraged to enjoy their drinks without straws to cut back on the plastic waste. We encourage guests to help us in our efforts to make the world a greener place. Information is left in the guest rooms asking to conserve water and electricity. Turning off the lights when guests leave the room is an important small step to take. We make it a point to work with eco-friendly suppliers. In addition, our staff investigate the proper disposal of product packaging and waste.

Wildlife Protection:
As the founders of the Tulum Foundation, Dreams Tulum promotes education, culture and conservation, supporting the preservation of endangered animals. For example, from May thru October, Mother Caray Green Sea Turtles visit the beaches of Quintana Roo to lay their eggs. As part of Dreams Tulum conservation efforts, we educate guests as well as the surrounding community on safety precautions during the most fragile nesting months for sea turtles.
