Disney Files Magazine mourns the loss of our longtime friend and collaborator Jim Korkis.
For decades, Jim’s “Disney Heritage†features have been key to our commitment to keeping this magazine’s storytelling in line with that of our company’s founder, who famously had one foot in the past and one in the future.
While Jim loved sharing Disney history with all fans, he found particular pleasure in sharing those stories with you, some of the most appreciative fans on Earth.
“It has been one of the great joys in my life to share Disney stories with the Disney Vacation Club family that has always been so appreciative of my efforts,†Jim told Disney Files Magazine shortly before his passing. “Please keep the stories alive by continuing to share them.â€
As we do just that in the years ahead, we do so with tremendous gratitude to Jim for his many magical years of insights, stories and friendship.
