Once high-quality play of LIV players has been deteriorating at a fast rate (LIV’s only answer? OWGR, January 20, GGP). First, their greed got the best of them. Then they sued the PGA [Tour], which was really their supposed friends. Came to their senses and withdrew their lawsuit.
Playing 54-hole demonstrations, without cuts, on courses that few have heard of. Wow! Their own avarice made most of them less competitive. I bet if you took a survey most golfers don’t care. They are not missed.
Watching some of these young newcomers who work at the game we all love is more fun than seeing dilettantes complain. Finally, you don’t reward bad behavior.

You are correct on all LIV Golf items (LIV’s only answer? OWGR, January 20, GGP). They should scrap the shotgun start, play four days and 72 holes, have some sort of cut line, kill the music. Work to bring golf back to normalcy. I watch less golf now, because of this friction.

Great article (LIV’s only answer? OWGR, January 20, GGP). It’s possible for LIV players to qualify, as far as I know they can enter a qualifier for both the U.S. Open and Open Championship, correct? Can’t do that for the Masters or PGA but for two out of four (and probably the most important two), they have access. Just go qualify!

Great story (Amateur game mourns loss of legendary caddie, January 20, GGP). I love reading about people like JD who give their all to this great game. Too bad his passing was the first most of us heard about him. Golf is the greatest game and people like JD are the ones who make it so. Thank you!
