PRESENTING
WOMEN’S SENIOR AMATEUR
Australia’s Nadene Gole, 56, is the busiest senior women’s golfer in the world, and her résumé can attest that she earned the right to be called the best amateur in her class. Ranked 107th in the WAGR, Gole is far and away the highest-ranked senior woman in the world. In fact, 25-year-old Emilia Migliaccio (101st) is the only women’s mid-amateur ranked ahead of Gole. She won six times already in 2024, including the R&A Senior Women’s Amateur, before beating 2022 champion Shelly Stouffer of Canada in only Gole’s second USGA championship. It follows an historic 2023 season when Gole became the first golfer – male or female at any amateur level – to sweep all six of Australia’s available state championships (Tasmania, New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia) as well as the national senior women’s amateurs of Australia and New Zealand.
