The 2023 rainwear collection from Galway Bay includes four early-release items available for pre-order – a new reversible jacket, rain jacket, quarter-zip pullover and tailored rain pants.
The all-weather long-sleeve reversible jacket ($379) features the proprietary Hydro-Flex 32 fabric, which boasts the most breathable, waterproof technology in the industry in a lightweight material offering freedom of movement during the golf swing. The three-layer, 100-percent waterproof fabric is constructed with a hydrophilic interior to pull moisture away from the skin and transfer it to the outer layer. The exterior surface area disperses and releases moisture for more efficient dry times.
One side of the reversible jacket is fully waterproof while the other side features a sophisticated tartan protecting from windy or wet conditions.
The long-sleeve rain jacket ($329) also uses Hydro-Flex 32 fabric. It has a high collar in the back to keep water from going down your neck but tapers down to a rounded front to avoid poking your chin when fully zipped.
Both jackets are available in hues of slate blue and black, with the reversible jacket transitioning to a tartan gray-toned pattern. Fabric combinations breathe to release excess body heat and sweat, with a double layer providing warmth. The soft, quiet fabric has waterproof sealed seams on one side.
The quarter-zip pullover ($89) is made of soft lightweight 80/20 cotton/polyester fabric designed to move with the golf swing. It features a locker loop on the inside collar, an elasticized waistband and fitted cuffs to ensure comfort and grip.
Galway Bay's unlined all-weather pants ($199) don’t need to be worn over another pair of pants. They are designed to fit each individual player with waist and inseam measurements. Constructed with stretch Hydro-Flex 32 fabric, it’s breathable, waterproof and windproof and comes in black or slate with either standard or a tailored fit with a more modern-cut tapered leg. Deep pockets in both the front and back ensure dry storage of personal items, gloves or scorecards.
The all-weather lined pants ($199) have an inner liner constructed of a high-end, temperature-regulating wool fabric ensuring comfort in temperatures down to 30 degrees.
