A stay-at-home mom with a 2-year-old, Carman won the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am at Fiddlesticks as a family affair. The former Portland State player hadn’t registered any WAGR-counting results before this year.

Clark pulled off the rare feat of making match play in both the U.S. Women’s Am and Mid-Am. She nearly won the Mid-Am, falling just short of Carman.

Winning arguably the second-strongest event in the women’s mid-am game, Garcia captured the European Mid-Am by beating players such as Céline Manche and Hélène Malvy.

A former Pepperdine standout, Gelleni continues to compete against the best amateurs of South America with great success. She had several nice showings in the biggest events on the continent, including top-10s in the South American Amateur and South American Games.
Allison Gonring

Runner-Up: AGA Women’s Amateur
Round of 64: U.S. Women’s Mid-Am
Gonring won both the Women’s Ohio State Mid-Am and Metropolitan Women’s Amateur in local play, but she also reached match play in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am and nearly won the AGA Women’s Amateur.

Jacobs won the Pacific Northwest Women’s Mid-Am, adding to strong showings in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am, Oregon Amateur, AGA Women’s Amateur and LNGA Mid-Am.
Gretchen Johnson
Winner: Ladies National Golf Association Mid-Am
Yet another Oregonian on the list, Johnson won the LNGA Mid-Am and had a few other key results including a top-five in the AGA Women’s Amateur and reaching the round of 16 in the U.S. Women’s Mid-Am.

Runner-Up: French Women’s Mid-Am
Top 5: European Mid-Am
Malvy was the top women’s mid-am from France. She won an amateur event, finished runner-up in the French mid-am, was top five in the Euro Mid-Am and had a handful of other impressive finishes in French events.

Manche is a regular on our list – and arguably the most active European women’s mid-amateur in the game. She had a win and three runner-up finishes against good competition in Belgium in addition to a top-10 at the European Mid-Am and several strong showings in other European amateur tournaments.

Stasi went over to Scotland and had a strong performance against a good field with younger amateurs. She also went deep into the Women’s Mid-Am and reached the semifinals of her hometown event, the Jones-Doherty.
