Fun and good times were had by all as the seventh annual San Francisco Pride golf tournament teed off Oct. 18 at TPC Harding Park.
The first-ever LGBTQ+ sporting event to be officially endorsed by the PGA, the annual tournament is a fundraiser for the SF Pride Community Partners Program, which aims to advance LGBTQ+ rights, equality and social justice.
Participants enjoyed a full round of golf complemented by special on-course activities, rainbow-themed decorations and the vibrant spirit of camaraderie that has become a hallmark of this annual tradition. Included in this year’s festivities was an evening at the new TopGolf in Burlingame.
Since its inception in 2019, the event has raised over half a million dollars for San Francisco Pride programs. This year’s event was a significant fundraiser for the San Francisco Pride Community Partners Program, which provides vital grants to local LGBTQ+ non-profit organizations.
Among the celebration too was the presentation of the 2025 Excellence in Golf Award, which went to 2024-25 NCGA Men’s Player of the Year Matt Cohn.
Previous awardees include Tisha Alyn (2024), Jamie Leno Zimron (2023), Hailey Davidson (2022) and Tadd Fujikawa (2021).
