The team of Kathy and Krittikun Chiraphanda not only won back-to-back championship titles, but also Team of the Year crowns.
In the championship finals at Half Moon Bay Golf Links, the two came in with a final score of 20-under 124 (59-65) playing in a net Four-Ball format. The first round was held on the Old Course, with the second being contested on the Ocean Course.
Team Chiraphanda also won last year’s championship at Half Moon Bay.
The team of Steve Jow and Glenn Houston was second at 19-under 125.
The Weekend Net Tour is a series of one-day, weekend-only competitions that are held at some of the best courses in the NCGA region.
All events are held on Saturday or Sunday mornings and consist of both individual and team competitions with a wide variety of formats including Four-Ball Net, Stableford, Chicago Points and Individual Net. As a bonus, there are also optional skins games.
Tournaments are flighted by handicap index to ensure players of all abilities enjoy the competition and have a chance to win prizes.
