Tax season is underway and with the filing deadline of Tuesday, April 18 right around the corner, the IRS (Internal Revenue Service) recommends filing your return sooner rather than later. Do you have a fairly simple tax return? Are you interested in learning how to file your own tax return? Do you need help with claiming the Child Tax Credit? We can help!
The Denver Public Library provides Do It Yourself (DIY) Tax Help for free in partnership with Mile High United Way. Our sessions assist people in electronically filling out and filing their own taxes for households with income less than $60,000. Our team of IRS certified library staff are available to help answer questions and assist you with the filing process.
