Consistency, efficiency and power—that’s why Fitz Tallon, executive chef at Eataly NYC Flatiron in New York City, prefers cooking with natural gas.
The top chef and others are featured in the American Gas Association’s new #CookingWithGas cooking campaign, set to launch in October across AGA’s digital platforms. Aspiring home cooks and fans of delicious food will love this series in which professional chefs demonstrate recipes and share the benefits of natural gas.
“I love cooking with natural gas. It has been in every restaurant I’ve ever worked in,” Tallon told American Gas. In his video, he makes Carciofi alla Romana con Uova Fritte, a dish with roasted artichokes topped with a fried egg and Pecorino Romano cheese.
Jake Rubin, director of Public Relations and Executive Communications at AGA, said the series highlights the timeless connection of cooks to their kitchens. “Cooking is a way of showing love, and food has always brought people together,” he said. “AGA has always understood that emotional connection and has embraced it in our communications since our founding. The #CookingWithGas campaign will bring that same sense into the digital age.” — Carolyn Kimmel
