Chesapeake Utilities Corporation has announced several promotions and new officer appointments: Beth W. Cooper has been promoted to executive vice president, chief financial officer and assistant corporate secretary of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation; James F. Moriarty has been promoted to executive vice president, general counsel, corporate secretary and chief policy and risk officer of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation, where he will also lead the integration and provide oversight of the regulatory and governmental affairs function across the company; Kevin J. Webber has been promoted to president of Florida Public Utilities Company and senior vice president of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation; Cheryl M. Martin has been promoted to vice president of regulatory affairs for Chesapeake Utilities Corporation; Michael D. Cassel has been promoted to assistant vice president of FPU, where he will lead the regulatory and governmental affairs groups for FPU; Buddy Shelley has been promoted to assistant vice president of electric operations for FPU; and Barry D. Kennedy has been promoted to assistant vice president of natural gas operations for FPU.
DTE Energy has announced seven senior executive rotations and promotions: David Ruud, president of DTE Energy’s power and industrial group, has been named senior vice president, corporate strategy and development; Mark Stiers, president and chief operating officer of DTE Gas, takes on the role of president and COO of power and industrial; Matthew Paul, vice president of plant operations for the company’s electric generation, has been promoted to president and COO of DTE Gas; JoAnn Chávez, vice president of legal and chief tax officer, has been promoted to senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief tax officer; Joi Harris, vice president of major enterprise projects, has been promoted to senior vice president of major enterprise projects; Renee Tomina, executive director of DTE gas operations, has been promoted to vice president of gas operations; and Ryan Stowe, executive director of distribution operations, has been promoted to vice president of distribution operations.
Donna DeCarolis has been named president of National Fuel Gas Company’s utility business, replacing Carl M. Carlotti, who is retiring after 34 years with the company. DeCarolis, who has been National Fuel’s vice president of business development since 2007, has worked at National Fuel since 1983 in a variety of roles, including as head of its energy marketing business.
At ONE Gas Inc., Caron A. Lawhorn will serve as the company’s senior vice president and chief financial officer, and Curtis L. Dinan will serve as the company’s senior vice president, commercial. Both Lawhorn and Dinan will continue to report to ONE Gas President and CEO Pierce H. Norton II.
The executive vice president of South Jersey Industries Inc., Stephen Clark, has retired. Clark also retired as president and chief operating officer of South Jersey Energy Solutions LLC and SJI Midstream LLC.
