AVANGRID Inc. has announced that Zsoka McDonald has joined the company as vice president, corporate communications, responsible for overseeing internal and external communications as well as corporate branding for the company.
Chesapeake Utilities Corporation has announced the appointment of Michael Galtman to the position of vice president and chief accounting officer in the company’s finance and accounting department. He will report directory to Beth Cooper, the company’s executive vice president and chief financial officer.
DTE Energy has announced seven senior executive rotations and promotions: David Ruud, president of DTE Energy’s Power & Industrial group, has been named senior vice president, corporate strategy and development; Mark Stiers, president and chief operating officer of DTE Gas, has taken on the role of president and COO of Power & Industrial; Matthew Paul, vice president of plant operations for the company’s electric generation, has been promoted to president and COO of DTE Gas; JoAnn Chávez, vice president of legal and chief tax officer, has been promoted to senior vice president, deputy general counsel and chief tax officer; Joi Harris, vice president of major enterprise projects, has been promoted to senior vice president of major enterprise projects; Renee Tomina,executive director of DTE Gas Operations, has been promoted to vice president of gas operations; and Ryan Stowe, executive director of distribution operations, has been promoted to vice president of distribution operations.
National Fuel Gas Company has announced that Ronald J. Tanski, president and CEO, has retired after more than 40 years of service. He will continue to serve as a member of the board of directors. Tanksi has been succeeded by David P. Bauer, a member of National Fuel’s executive team since 2004.
Steven Malnight, senior vice president of energy supply and policy at Pacific Gas and Electric Company, has resigned.
PG&E Corp. has named Bill Johnson, who has retired as the head of the Tennessee Valley Authority, as its next chief executive. It has also named 10 new board members, including former Federal Energy Regulatory Commissioner Nora Mead Brownell and Cheryl Campbell, a former senior executive at Xcel Energy Inc. Three current board members—including current Chairman Richard Kelly, a former Xcel CEO—will remain on the board.
Washington Gas Light Company has named Douglas Bonawitz senior vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer. He takes over from Vincent Ammann Jr., who has retired as executive vice president and CFO. Gunnar Gode has been appointed vice president and controller following William Ford’s retirement as vice president and chief accounting officer.
